Description

This Richochet Skid Plate is perfectly shaped and manufactured specifically for this model bike and does not match the sample picture shown. Ricochet skid plates are built with an "ears" design to protect vulnerable engine components and mounted with super tough chrome-moly steel clamps and locking nuts. Every Ricochet Skid Plate is made from 5/32" or 3/16" aircraft aluminum, incorporates cutouts for easy maintenance, and has a clear non-corosive anodized finish. You'll recognize the value of Ricochet's time-tested design, with hundreds of thousands of skid plates sold since 1972.

    Ricochet Skid Plate for TW200

    Just installed a Ricochet skid plate on my wife's 2015 Yamaha TW200. Perfect fit. Did view an installation video on YouTube first, though. Helped, because the written instructions were not that good. Haven't run the bike yet, so can't comment on any noise increase. No comparison between Ricochet's product and the stock skid plate. Very satisfied with this plate.

    Install was fine. The stock plate uses a slot and a wire welded to the swing arm. All I did was bend it up out of the way to use the mounts on the new skid plate. What an upgrade as compared to the stock one. Very strong and well made. Looks nice on the bike as well!

    Good solid plate

    Very solid plate and mounting hardware but NO instructions! There was a note on the parts list to "add instructions" but none were added. Mounting was not all that difficult but instructions would have simplified things.

    Nice heavy duty aluminum plate. Mounting is easy and quick. Could have better instructions though. You have to bend the stock rear mounting loop out of the way and there is no mention of that in the instructions.

    Easy install, alot more stout compared to factory. Very nice.
