My new favorite tire MOTOZ HT rear, Motoz IT front on WR450F

Posted by Arn Johan on 2nd Sep 2013

This tire rides rough rocky terrain like an MT430 Trials tire, but also does very well in the woods (mud, tree roots, sand). Braking is awesome, in all conditions... especially during steep off-camber descents. Wear on the front has been very good so far. It looks like new with over 750 miles on it. The rear, the Motoz HT 130/90/18 has about 180 miles on it and has slight srounding of the knob edges, which I don't think affects performance. The concept behind the tire design seems to work very well, and the rubber compound makes the tire exceptional in the rocky areas, which we have many of here in the Colorado Rockies. Did I mention the front tire is also the first tier I have ever used that did not start chunking knobbs after a few hundred miles.
