product was good install was different story.

Seeing as this was SM (supermoto) brake set up, I decided to install on a 3.5 inch wide supermoto wheel. The adapter for the caliper was a hair to wide and caused the rotor rivets to rub on it. Fortunately, I had a Galfer bracket from my 21inch klr tire. Used that instead and now have , i hope enough clearance for the rotor, but its tight. No kudding, it took me hours to figure out why this was an issue. I will say that if you want the SM kit on your 21inch klr650 wheel you'll be happy.

Item fits perfectly. Very quick and easy to install. Big improvement over the stock disc. Not heavier than stock as it has an aluminium centre with a floating steel rotor and the stock unit is all steel. I highly recommend this essential safety upgrade from Dualsport Armory.

    Awesome upgrade!

Bolts right on the stock bike, something the original description doesn't mention. Looks very well made, and the bracket is a quality piece. Braking feel and stopping distance are vastly improved. I would *highly* recommend this to anyone with a KLR. Just as good as the Galfer stuff, but for far less money. Plus, I think the black center looks better than the bling gold center anyways.
